Pricing FAQ
What counts as a validation?
Each unique email you submit to /v1/verify counts as one validation. Duplicates are free — we automatically dedupe. Failed lookups (network errors, our side) don't count.
What happens if I go over my plan limit?
Validations stop returning verdicts until the next reset or you upgrade. No surprise bills, no automatic charges. We email you when you hit 80% and 100%.
How does the 14-day money-back work?
If VerifyKit isn't for you, email support within 14 days of your first paid charge and we refund in full. No questions, no forms.
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade from the billing dashboard. Upgrades are prorated, downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
Is there a free tier?
Our free email verifier at verifykit.io/free-email-verifier lets you check addresses one at a time without signing up. For API access, the Starter plan at $9/month is the cheapest entry. We discontinued the free API tier in favour of stronger SLAs for paying customers.
Do you charge for catch-all or unknown results?
Yes — we charge per check, regardless of verdict, because the SMTP work happens either way. Catch-all domains return a "risky" verdict so you can decide how to handle them.
What's the difference between Growth and Pro?
Growth (15K/mo) is the entry tier with bulk + 2FA. Pro (50K/mo) adds unlimited API keys, duplicate removal at the API level, webhooks, and 2x the 2FA quota. Most growing SaaS teams pick Pro.
Why is the Unlimited plan capped at 5M/month?
"Unlimited" means you don't pay per validation — but we cap fair use at 5M/month to keep the service fast for everyone. Need more? Email us, we'll set up enterprise pricing.
Do you offer annual discounts?
Not at the moment. The 20% off for the first 3 months is the launch offer. Reach out if you're committing to a year and we'll work something out.
Do you support invoicing / PO / wire transfer?
Stripe handles card payments for all plans. For invoicing or wire, contact support — typically available from the Unlimited tier.
