Deduplication FAQ

Is deduplication automatic on every bulk run?
Yes — on the Pro plan and above. The system normalises emails before comparison so case variants and gmail aliases (jane+work@) are caught.
How does duplicate detection work?
Two passes. First, exact string match after lowercasing and trimming. Second, alias-aware match — jane+work@ and jane+newsletter@ both fold to jane@ for the comparison.
Which row gets kept?
By default the first occurrence in the file. You can pick a different rule via the dashboard — most recent, most engaged, or a custom column.
Will it cross-match against my existing list?
Yes if you upload your existing list as a reference. New rows that already exist in your CRM get flagged automatically.
Can I dedupe without verifying?
Yes. Deduplication is a separate step — run it standalone or chain it with SMTP verification in one workflow.
